What are the factors that keep new comers coming back day after day week after week?
Better yet, what are the core ingredients of a successful church? The type of church where only a few invites produces a member, only a few sermons, produce a disciple?
These questions and more are answered in episode #4 where I dive into some of the core ingredients. The church itself must be healthy on the inside, on the leadership side and on the welcome side and the hospitality side in order to continue to invest and invite people and see those people continue to come back.
I discuss some of the key areas that have to be perfected before you dive into any attendance increases.
Thanks for listening, I hope this material really reaches out and inspires you and fills the seats in your church.

Getting people to come to church, boy if you've tried it... It's hard! At least it sure seems that way, but I'm sure that after hearing this podcast, you'll have some ammunition in your gun. You'll finally see the picture clearly on what it takes to build up church attendance.
In this podcast titled "created for relationship" I'm going to talk about a study that was done (even tell you who and where the study came from if you want to find it online) that surveyed people who became christians as adults. The study group was 383 adults - aged 18 to 70. 29% said they were returning to a childhood faith, the rest of the 61% had no faith as a child.
What's interesting is... This is the FACTS that lead these people to Christ Jesus. This truly is the podcast of "What works and what doesn't." There's no fluff in these podcasts.
Here's the stats:
• 77% of females and 53% of males (66% of the whole sample) gave details of some need or crisis in their lives which led them to Christianity.
• 90% say there was a church that led them to Christ
• 84% said reading the bible played a significant role.
• 76% say that the gospel being explained played significan’t role.
• 66% say being given a PART of the bible to read had some significance in becoming a Christian.
• 92% said they had a relationship with a Christian
• 87% knew of someone who was praying for them prior to conversion.
• 87% received some kind of invitation.
At the end of this podcast, I reveal the takeaways that lead to success. What we can learn from these facts and how we can turn this into a recipe for church growth, invitation and attendance. Listen to it, because the strategies at the end are important... I also give a specific example of ONE piece of scripture that took a head leader of the Occult in London, England and turned him into one of the greatest christian authors of the century.
If you're reading this, chances are God's compelled you to listen and throw these strategies in your toolbox today!

Episode #2 - Tools for Invitation
This week's podcast, I discussed why I started the podcast, and what I'm planning to do with my research.
Insights for this week:
#1 - Before you go increasing attendance...
There are some preparation steps you want to take to ensure it doesn't blow up in your face. I mean having too many people show up can also be a disaster! I was shocked by the average attendance of most churches in the USA and I'll tell you why...
#2 - Special event invitations...
There's certain events in a person's life where it's totally natural to invite people to church! In fact, even your most anti-christian friends will often come to one of these events...
#3 - Finding Invitations in the Church
The congregation knows why their friends aren't coming to church. They know what objections they hear from their friends when they invite them, find out what one pastor did to fix this...
#4 - Seeker sensitive messages
While I'm not agreeing 100% with the Warren/Hybels theology of seeker sensitive movements, I am suggesting some scripture are better for beginners and "not-yet-a-christian" type folks than others.

“In 1990 approximately 20% the population (of America) attended church on any given weekend. By 2004 the figure had dropped to 17%. If the trend continues, by 2050 only 11% of Americans will attend church. Although megachurches have multiplied across the fruited plains, the numbers show that Christianity in America has been consolidating and not exploding”.
I have a passion... I'm sure there are people out there who share it.. Not only a burden for lost souls, but even more so a burden for churches... Small churches... Churches that want to see an explosion of growth and visitorship and attendance provided by none other than the holy spirit.
I want to find the magic formula, the answer... I want to be able to one day hand a book to a young church planter and say THIS is how you invite people to church. This book will get your audience into your fingertips. This book will give you everything you need.
I'm not there yet... I'm still researching the foundations and material for my book. This... Is my online journal of that research... It's my hope that others would join in and comment on my podcasts. It's my hope that others would listen in and gain early wisdom and gifts from Jesus as I explore this topic. This is a place where I can reveal some of my early findings as I build the resources that will go into the final book.
What can you do to help?
I've written 7 secular books in my lifetime so far. None on the works of God or church resource type books. Some of them were really rich material and some were short. The short ones should have been longer though. They stayed short because I ran out of steam, passion and drive for that project. YOU can help, by commenting... By joining in and listening and subscribing.
The more subscribers I see, the more comments I see, the more i'm going to feel compelled to keep going with this project... Are you ready?
Lets go!
Episode 1... I reveal my inspiration, my plan and some insight's I've gained already so far.
